Any insights into this?

For a while now (since I was about 12, and I’m 19 now), I’ve been having a recurring dream every summer that I can’t figure out. I was wondering if anyone here can help or give me some insights as to what it might mean. I had the dream last night, and that’s why I’m asking, because I’ve never had the dream during winter—only once every year and in the summer, though I‘m not sure if that‘s relevant or not; the dream is always very vivid and depending on where I wake up during the dream, I’m either very calm and happy or I shoot up in bed in a cold sweat. I’ve only finished it once. Here it is:

I can’t exactly remember how it starts off, because I tend to start at the middle of the dream. It takes place in the 1800’s, and I’m about 18. I usually come into the dream standing at the top of a staircase in a huge mansion. I know I’m engaged and my marriage is in less than three days. The house is dark, except for candles lit here and there. The carpet is a plush, deep red with intricate patterns on it and everywhere there are paintings with ornate gold frames. I’m leaning over the mahogany rail of the staircase, which has two openings to the first floor, and I’m looking down into the parlor below. From here I can see the front door and the hallway leading down to the other side of the house. Across from me is a crystal chandelier hanging from the high ceiling, and there is a group of people standing in the corner next to the left side of the staircase. There are four of them: three adults and one child, and they are talking in hushed, hurried, agitated voices.

The next thing I know, my fiancé places a hand on my shoulder and I turn to him and smile. He whispers to me that he loves me and very much wishes to kiss me; I blush and tell him that it’s improper, and besides, my family is right downstairs and would see us. I risk a peek over my shoulder, and at the sounds of our whispering, my family has all stopped talking and are now looking up at the two of us. My mother is frowning at me, and the child is looking at me with pure hatred (and it sincerely scares me). I turn back to my fiancé and tell him that we have to get away from them.

Now, though it’s never said in the dream, I know two things for sure about my fiancé: that he is Louis, from Anne Rice’s novel "Interview with the Vampire," and that he is, obviously, a vampire. I’m not sure if my family know this or not.

So, after I tell him we need to leave, he smiles at me. I’m watching his face and I can feel the stares of my family on my back when suddenly his expression turns into horror. He’s looking at something behind me, coming from the hallway, and I turn around to see what it is. Before I can yell, a flood of water bursts through the hallway and sweeps me along with it. I’m holding on desperately to Louis, and he is yelling and I am yelling and my family downstairs is yelling as the water rushes over the staircase and onto the first floor. To avoid being pulled away with the tide, they are holding onto the banisters. Louis is still holding onto me and I’m crying and telling him not to let go.

His grip slips, though, and I’m rushed away down stairs. Before I can be carried any farther, something grabs me around the waist and I’m pulled into a room directly next to the staircase. I’m confused and haven’t had time to gather my wits when before I know it, I’m thrown onto a steel slab and my arms and legs are being pinned down by leather straps. There are three women in front of me, and they are very ugly, with gray hair and large noses and blood red eyes, and they’re wearing black, withered robes. They’re cackling and they gather around me: two at my feet, and one at my head. I’m scared, but I can’t scream yet. The one next to my head pulls out a needle and pushes the bangs on my head back. She starts telling me that she knows about my fiancé, that he is a vampire, and she can’t allow “such a pretty little thing like [me] to be turned into a blood-sucking killer.” She’s going to stick me with a potion, but I’m not sure what it does, because she never says.

I see the needle descending and the two witches at my feet are holding my legs down. I start to squirm and scream out, “Louis! Louis! Help me!”

He is banging on the door and yelling my name, but he can’t get it open. This is where I usually wake up. The one time I finished it, Louis got the door open and scared away the witches, but most times I wake up as the needle presses to my skin and I’m still screaming.

So, anyone have any ideas? I apologize for such a long description, but it’s vivid and I wanted to give as many details as I could.

What do you think of my story?

Any comments welcome, as long as they are truthful. Please leave comments on how I can improve, thanks!!

I swear on my father’s grave that on my plate of escargot a lone snail is moving, slowly creeping off the gold china edge. I shudder, and push my plate away from me. My mother has taken me to another one of her charity events again, another long evening spent in hot itchy fabrics eating God-knows-what when I could be eating oven-baked pizza and watching The Titanic over and over at home. I think this time everyone is donating to some animal shelter or something furry like that. Thankfully, Virginia is here to keep me company. Remembering to keep a straight spine, with my shoulder blades lightly touching the back of my gold and red velvet chair, I peer out of the corner of my eye, searching for the black haired beauty.
Virginia is over by the wedding-aisle long bar, sipping a flute of champagne and talking to Hunter, an attractive boy from our class. I quickly excuse myself, earning a sharp glare from Mom. She is bringing me to more and more of these soirées lately; as if in a month I will forget my proper place in society next to my peers and drop off the face of the earth. I just shrug my shoulders at her and speed walk over towards Virginia and Hunter, who are both laughing at someone Virginia has probably made fun of. She is one of the most straightforward girls you can ever meet, making up for her small petite frame. Her laugh rings across the room, echoing off every marble column and crystal chandelier. Some wealthy patrons scowl at the loud girl, then sniff and turn their cold shoulders away. Virginia never notices the stares; most of them out of envy. She is one of the most beautiful girls at The Alabaster Chasten Academy, our school, but thinks nothing of it.
“Beauty is just something to distract us from our lives,” Virginia said when I complemented her on her flawless face when we first met. Her honey colored skin glows beneath a turquoise beaded dress, and her tear colored blue eyes shine with laughter. Hunter pushes part of her black bangs back, and she shakes the chic, short bob out again. I approach them as soon as Hunter leaves to get her another drink.
“Hey Rose! I saw you over there with the cronies. Any passed out or slept with each other’s husbands yet?” Virginia asks teasingly, making me blush and look down.
“They’re not all that bad.” I say halfheartedly. “So I saw you talking with Hunter Crawford. Now he is a good catch; how’d you snag him this time?” Virginia is known for her boyfriends. She’s dated guys from the chess club to the swim team, and the activity council to the cheerleading squad. Right now she’s single, but Hunter is probably going to change that for her soon.
“We have health together this semester, and we’re partnered up to do this project on STDs. Totally revolting, but definitely valuable information if you know what I mean.” Virginia smiled and bumps me with her hip. I bump back and soon we’re trying to stifle our shrieks with our silk clutches.
“What about you, Rose? Anyone caught your eye?” An elderly couple waltz past us, the wife waving a gloved hand our way, and the man nods deeply. I smile back and pick up a small gold plate with an even smaller slice of lemon cake on it from the bar tender.
What Virginia really means is if Asher and I are officially a couple now. He’s been my best friend since we were in diapers, and I’ve had a huge crush on him ever since. Back in second grade, we were both playing under the big yellow slide when I kissed him on the lips. He reacted in the normal little boy way; wiping his lips with his sleeve, and screaming that he had gotten cooties. It took three teachers and the principal to calm him down. What can I say, he is a little outrageous.

Oh, and I have paragraphs, this just didn’t format it like that, so sorry.
And this is only a part of my first chapter. I still have another page, haha.

Can you rate my story plz?

The house was just a beautiful as she expected it to be. It loomed in front of the crystal river and snow glistened on the tree branches. Her brand new heels clacked against the pavement as they walked towards the stained double doors. Inside the house was like an imperial hotel. The interior were oak and mahogany. She couldn’t keep her eyes off of the grand staircase and crystal chandelier hanging above the cathedral ceiling. She didn’t understand why he hadn’t invited her over before.
"Let’s chill in my room." suggested Andy, smiling at Nicole.
"Cool with me." she shrugged, grabbing Carter’s hand.
They walked down the long hallway where flowers and pots hang from the ceiling above the accented rug. A grandfather clock displayed at the end of the hallway overlooking the view. Famous portraits ornamented the beautifully crafted walls as Nicole walked past it. She loved paintings. She was going to have fun at his house.
When they reached his room, Andy hopped onto his computer and started checking his Facebook. While he was doing Nicole and Holly sat on his bed. Nicole noticed the white schnauzer sleeping soundly next to it.
"Aww…he’s so cute!" she crooned, reaching over to pet him.
"He sure is." Andy laughed, not taking his eyes off of the screen. "I’m ’bout to get something to drink. Anyone want one?"
"I think we all do." chuckled Carter.
"I second that." agreed Holly. "Nicole do you want one?"
"Nah, I already had something to drink." Nicole said. "Thanks, anyway."
"No problem." nodded Andy. "You can check your facebook if you want to."
"Thanks." she grinned. "Don’t mind if I do."
Holly gave her a friendly smile before walking out of the room. She couldn’t believe she was in the presence of Holly. The girl that everyone wanted to be friends with. She was like an angel. All of her friends were. They all seemed elegant and poised. No one saw them as average high-schoolers. They were more than that. And Nicole was glad she was going to be apart of that.
She walked over to Andy’s computer desk and signed out of his login. Just when she was about to type in her own email address, Carter’s email address popped up in the box. Curious, she clicked on the password box. Six black dots appeared. Feeling excited, she clicked on the login button. As soon as she entered his Facebook page, she saw dozens of comments on his page. Most of them were from Savannah.

Carter Atkins: Hey, why didn’t you say hi to me yesterday :(
Savannah Ripley: Oops, sorry. I was in a hurry to get to class. I’ll say hi next time :)
Carter Atkins: You better ;)
Savannah Ripley: haha very funny. Do you wanna do something today?
Carter Atkins: Well, I’m hangin out with my friends. How bout tomorrw?
Savannah Ripley: Aww…you know I don’t like doing stuff on Sundays. Maybe next weekend?
Carter Atkins: Count on it.

Nicole didn’t believe it. He was still talking to his ex-girlfriend. Savannah Ripley. Savannah, Savannah, Savannah. That was all she heard in that damn school. It was all about Savannah. She wasn’t that great anyway. Nicole didn’t even know the girl, but she disgusted her. She didn’t fit in with the popular kids. She had no idea why her and Holly were even best friends. She should have been best friends with Holly and the other girls. Clicking on Savannah’s profile, she saw several conversations between her and Andy. Now she was winning over the friendship of her old best friend? This didn’t seem right. Was that why Andy hadn’t talked to her a lot since July? Because of Savannah? Nicole was seething.
Then a devilish smile crept on her face.
Let’s see how much Carter will like Miss Homecoming Queen after she deletes his comments.
With that, she went back to Carter’s page and deleted every conversation they had between each other.

Need Interior Design advice.?

My Family just bought a new home. I’m trying to Design my new bedroom, but can’t make up my mind for the wall color.

It’s a large bedroom, with 3 large windows on one wall. My furniture is all black, with gold accents. My bed is black wood, 2 night stands are black rod iron with gold leafing and have glass shelves. My table for the center of the room, is a round, glass table top, with a dark brown and gold framing, the legs are black rod iron and have gold posts in between. I have 2 large mirrors..one has a black frame with gold leafing, and a dark brown wooden carving along the edge (matches the table perfectly) and another mirror that is a ‘washed out’ all gold Frame.and my dresser is black wood. There is a deep ebony stained wood floor which i love, and I have a bronze colored crystal chandelier.

I want to have white windows and trim. I plan to keep the windows bare, and just hang sheer white curtains (kept held open) with a black scarf to go along the top.

I want the room to have a very relaxing, sophisticated feel. Think Elegant & minimalistic.

I deffinetly want to stay with nuetral tones, but an all white room doesnt feel right to me..maybe i’d consider off white. I don’t want a color too warm. I don’t know i just need some advice! it

I don't want a pink and green room!!!?

Well we live overseas right now but we bought a house and had our grandparents paint it. This was back in september and i told them i wanted pink and green walls so thats what they painted it, but now im kind of out of the prep stage (which i was in for 3 years) and i want something edgier and glamorous. I was thinking Maroon walls and then like black and white floral bedding with a big crystal chandelier (like the ones at pb teen) and then some big black and white pictures of celebrities. Very old-fashioned, glamorous hollywood type theme. I don’t know what to do, because i think i might puke in my pink and green room but it would be rude to ask them to change it after they already spent so much time painting it. should i ask them anyway? And if i do have to be stuck with it for a couple years, what can i do to make the room look better and more like i want without changing the paint?
